Portugal Good Place to Invest

Portugal has been finding increasing favour among foreign property buyers over the last few years, especially those who are looking for a second home overseas. Experts are now advising potential buyers to seriously consider and pick up a property in the country at the earliest.

According to a recent report by Gulf Weekly, Portugal still has a very affordable and reliable market where property prices and price growth are concerned. The country was also described as an ideal destination for retirees who wish to settle out of their home country.

'Large numbers of retired Britons are choosing to make the most of Portugal's excellent climate and strong standard of living by relocating to the country,' the newspaper informed. The numerous choices of residences, right from off-plan houses to old farmhouses and luxury villas that are available in Portugal were also highlighted by the publication.

Another newspaper, the Irish Independent also paid tribute to Portugal's popularity among second home buyers when it described the country as preferable over other markets in Europe as the country has not yet fallen prey to over development or oversupply.
